Kalon, Janina Lang

Kalon is a display font. The Galapagos font is the source of inspiration. A kit of 65 shapes and 15 variations consisting of three basic blocks. Straight, round and oblique. Shapes can be mixed and matched forming their own Character.

Kalon means the unity of the true, the good and the beautiful in ancient Greece. The type designer himself becomes the creator of an everchanging Kalon font. Just the creator of something changeable. Isn't that nice?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and therefore everyone is keen to find their own definition of the Kalon.
